Arizona updated the Mathematics standards in 2010. They are aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

Body: 

The Arizona School Board of Education adopted new state standards in 2010 for mathematics for grades K-8 and the first three high school courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, or Math 1,2,3) including specific standards that could be included in a 4th credit math course. Arizona’s Mathematics standards set high expectations for all students to ensure that high school graduates are college and career ready. These standards represent three fundamental shifts: focus, coherence, and rigor.
