In Nevada today, there is a need for a rigorous self‐examination of what we do in schools to prepare students to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected global society. The challenge is to transform the current education model with modern tools, strategies, and learning resources to prepare our young learners for their futures. The Nevada Computer and Technology Standards address basic competence, and also incorporate the skills and knowledge that students require to learn effectively and live productively in an increasingly digital society
