This manual for school health programs, developed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), and the Missouri Association of School Nurses (MASN), recommends that students who do not report routine professional dental care should receive a dental screening, as time and resources permit.
