Pennsylvania Unconsolidated Statutes Article XIII Section 1337. Nonprofit School Food Program.

(c) Administration of Program. The Department of Education may give technical advice and assistance to any board of school directors in connection with the establishment and operation of any school food program, and may assist in training personnel engaged in the operation of such program.

Purdon's Pennsylvania Statutes and Consolidated Statutes Title 3 Pa.C.S.A. Agriculture § 5707. Powers of department.

(1) The department shall provide for the inspection of a food service at a school and for the training of school food service personnel in accordance with the Standard applied to retail food facilities for schools located in areas in which the department is the licensor. Upon request, the department shall provide training to school food service personnel or inspections of a food service at a school located in areas in which the department is not the licensor.
