(7) Upon parental or student request, an LEA may, with parental consent, substitute a course requirement described in Subsection (3) with a course, extracurricular activity, or experience that is:

• (a) similar to the course requirement; or
• (b) consistent with the student's plan for college and career readiness.

(14) Physical and Health Education (2.0 units of credit from any of the following): (a) Health (0.5 units of credit); (b) Participation Skills (0.5 units of credit); (c) Fitness for Life (0.5 units of credit); (d) Individualized Lifetime Activities (0.5 units of credit); or (e) team sport/athletic participation (maximum of 1.0 units of credit with school approval).
