This guidance from the United States of Department of Agriculture describes the requirement of local school wellness policies for all LEAs participating in the National School Lunch Program and/or School Breakfast Program and the components of local school wellness policy, including that LEAs must establish wellness policy leadership of an LEA or school official to ensure policy compliance.
