This model local wellness policy from the Missouri School Board Association addresses the establishment of a district wellness program coordinator, also a member of the wellness committee, to lead implementation and evaluation of the district wellness policy in consultation with the wellness committee. The wellness program coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that each school in the district is in compliance with the policy.
