This document provides two model local wellness policy templates that school districts can use in developing their local wellness policies in accordance with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 and USDA guidance, and includes designating one or more persons at the district or school level to ensure that each school fulfills the district's local wellness policy.
