State law addresses vision screening.
Florida Administrative Code 64F-6.003 Screening.
(1) Vision screening shall be provided, at a minimum, to students in grades kindergarten, 1, 3 and 6 and students entering Florida schools for the first time in grades kindergarten through 5.
