(3) The emergency operations plan developed and adopted under subsection (2) must include guidelines and procedures that address at least all of the following: (i) A plan to train teachers on mental health and pupil and teacher safety.

Board policy addresses incorporating instruction on recognizing signs and symptoms of mental health issues (e.g., Mental Health First Aid) into professional development and teacher education programs.

Catalog includes professional learning programs on mental health literacy.
