Firearms or Weapons on School Campuses

(Also calledGun Free Schools Act, GFSA)

This measure establishes the presence of a policy prohibiting student possession of firearms or other weapons on school campuses in compliance with federal Gun-Free Schools Act mandates and imposing fair and reasonable consequences for violations (e.g., due process, opportunities for alternative placement).
