This document provides guidance for schools and school districts developing, implementing, and updating their school wellness policies in accordance with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 and USDA guidance. The guide encourages districts to provide 150 minutes per week of health enhancement class time for elementary school students and ensure that at least 50% of health enhancement class time be spent participating in phyiscal activity.
