1.1 Instructional programs offered in the public schools of Delaware shall be in alignment with the appropriate content Standard documents. These documents are: English Language Arts Content Standard, Mathematics Content Standard, Science Content Standard, Social Studies Content Standard, Health Education and Assessment Content Standard, Physical Education Content Standard, Visual and Performing Arts Content Standard, Agriscience Content Standard, Business Finance and Marketing Education Content Standard, World Language Content Standard, Technology Education Content Standard, Skilled and Technical Sciences Content Standard, Family and Consumer Sciences Content Standard, Computer Science Content Standard and Financial Literacy Content Standard.

Delaware Administrative Code 14-500-503 Instructional Program Requirements

5.3 All public school students in grades 9 to 12 shall complete the credit in physical education necessary to graduate from high school through courses that demonstrate alignment to the adopted physical education Standard and grade level expectations.

Delaware Administrative Code 14-500-505 High School Graduation Requirements

4.1 Beginning with the graduating class of 2016, a public school student shall be granted a State of Delaware Diploma when such student has successfully completed a minimum of twenty four (24) credits in order to graduate including: four (4) credits in English Language Arts, four (4) credits in Mathematics, three (3) credits in Science, three (3) credits in Social Studies, two (2) credits in a World Language, one (1) credit in physical education, one half (1/2) credit in health education, three (3) credits in a Career Pathway, and three and one half (3 1/2) credits in elective courses.

5.1 Beginning with the graduating class of 2019, a public school student shall be granted a State of Delaware Diploma when such student has successfully completed a minimum of twenty-four (24) credits in order to graduate including: four (4) credits in English Language Arts, four (4) credits in Mathematics, three (3) credits in Science, three (3) credits in Social Studies, two (2) credits in a World Language, one (1) credit in Physical Education, one half (1/2) credit in Health Education, three (3) credits in a Career Pathway, and three and one half (3 ½ ) credits in elective courses.
