(e) Health and safety. The site and building(s) shall ensure that the health and safety of all school students, school personnel, and school visitors are properly safeguarded. (3) Hazardous materials. Appropriate programs pertaining to hazardous materials, hazardous waste, asbestos, underground storage tanks, lead contamination, and other applicable life, health, and/or safety matters shall be developed and implemented in accordance with federal, state, and local statutes, regulations, and codes.
