This manual for school health programs, developed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), and the Missouri Association of School Nurses (MASN), recommends that all school staff receive training on recognizing and reporting bullying and identifying students at risk for suicide.
